Design, Dialogue, and Danube Views

A small group of UX designers came together for our very first UX picnic, and what a wonderful experience it was! 🌞

Set against the scenic backdrop of the Danube, the picnic was more than just snacks on blankets. It was a space for genuine exchange, learning, and connection. UX professionals from diverse backgrounds gathered in a relaxed atmosphere to share ideas, discuss trends, and reflect on the challenges and triumphs of everyday UX work.

For me, the value of the picnic went far beyond networking. Listening to other designers share their approaches and real-world experiences sparked new perspectives on how I approach my own projects. Even casual discussions about small UX challenges turned into opportunities for learning and reflection, highlighting solutions I hadn’t considered before.

I also realized how much inspiration comes from simply exchanging ideas in an open, informal setting. Being able to talk through problems, brainstorm solutions, and hear honest feedback reminded me of the importance of collaboration and community in design.

Events like this remind us that UX isn’t just about screens and interfaces, it’s about people, collaboration, and shared learning. Thanks to everyone who joined us for making this picnic a memorable one.
